I wish I never went to this school. If your looking for an MBA go to UF or Rollins or even UCF. You get what you pay for and at Stetson that ain't much!

- Academic Role Undergraduate

- Department Psychology.
Pros
Unquestionably a beautiful and pleasant place to spend four years, about 20 miles from Daytona Beach. Most any athletics that you are interested in is available, though thankfully it has never been a sports-oriented school.
Cons
The little school does not seem to hire many veterans or even its own alumni! The administration has bragged for decades that the professors don't do research, thus can "concentrate on teaching." What it really means is that they also have no connections to the world of corporate JOBS that you get in real university research programs! The school used to be funded and affiliated -- not dictated -- by the Southern Baptists and was a better place then. Now it has turned into a pure PC indoctrination camp, complete with a Jewish woman as its president! As an alumni, I would never send my children there today. Now it is "re-introducing" a football team, which will be nothing more than a drain on serious academic work, possibly with a pure profit motive.

Majoring in Psychology was one of the greatest mistakes of my life, even after all that work for an honors degree. No one had the guts to tell me the consequences, and the school bears some responsibility in foisting this on naive 18 year old's who don't know better. An absolutely useless degree in the business world job market, and any Stetson "adviser" ought to have the duty to be honest about that.
