  Pros

  Appalachian state is a beautiful campus located in the scenic Appalachian mountains of North Carolina. Campus life is active including a lively party scene and a hopping scene on king street just outside of campus.

  Cons

  the campus is isolated form most of outside society creating a sort of bubble of campus life. meal plans are not based on buffet style meals, instead all items are a la cart and are purchased with what is essentially a school assigned debit card.

  I love App State and would recommend it to anyone who has a love for the outdoors and nature.
